Before we start, why again should you use Aloe Vera?

Let’s fresh up your knowledge about the benefits of the internal use of Aloe Vera. It's good to know why this plant is very healthy and good for the body. First of all Aloe Vera consists of 75 bio-active components. These components include vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes etc. Al of these bio-active components have different effects, each of which are good for the human body! Vitamins and minerals are two of the most important nutrients for the human body, the Aloe Vera plant contains more than 150 vitamins and minerals.

The most important ones are:
• Vitamins: A, C, E, Folic Acid, B complex, B1, B2, B3, B6 and B12
• Minerals: Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc Oxide, Chromium, Selenium, Sodium, Iron, Potassium, Copper and Manganese
• Amino Acids: Aloe Vera contains 18 of the 22 Amino Acids, including the 8 most important ones. These Amino Acids combine within the body to form proteins which helps the body to grow or repair body tissue.

Besides vitamins and minerals, Aloe Vera also consists of Polysaccharides. Polysaccharides are known as the true “magic” of the Aloe Vera, but better known as carbohydrates. Not only does it better the immune system and is it part of the transportation of energy within the body, but the Polysaccharides also increase liver function, regulate the digestive system and enhancing wound healing. The Acemannan (Aloverose) within the Polysaccharides makes sure wounds heal faster, up to 35%!

Also very important are the enzymes. Aloe Vera contains at least 10 important enzymes.
Enzymes include accounting for:
• Boost for the immune system
• The digestive system
• The generation of energy
• Improving metabolic processes
• Reducing inflammation

Last but not least we’ve got the free radicals within your body. Free radicals are known for damaging the function of cells, tissues and organs. It is also believed that free radicals play a role in the aging process. Aloe Vera serves as an effective barrier against pollutants (free radicals) in the body, strengthens the immune system, activates the detoxification system of the body and reduces oxidative stress. You can compare oxidative stress with an apple that turns brown. That’s what oxidative stress does to the human body.

Via these 3 ways Aloe Vera ensures that it serves as an effective barrier against free radicals:
1. Because of the natural variation of antioxidants in Aloe Vera (including vitamins), the plant can directly combat free radicals on the skin and in the body.
2. Aloe Vera can activate the enzyme system, so that it can fight the free radicals naturally.
3. Aloe Vera can dramatically increase the absorption of the vitamins C and E, which helps to stimulate the production of collagen and hydration of the skin.

Aloe Vera also works well against Diabetes. Check here what Aloe Vera does against Diabetes!
